Entrepreneurs often think the brand begins with a logo or a brand book. In reality, the brand exists long before any of that.
A brand forms automatically
The moment a company interacts with the market, impressions form. Customers, partners and reviews build a perception with or without your input.
That perception is already a brand.
You cannot switch it on
A brand is not created on the day you decide to do branding. It is the accumulated image the market already holds.
Branding manages an image that exists; it does not invent it from zero.
Why this matters
If you ignore the brand, it forms by accident — often weaker than reality. Branding is choosing to guide it deliberately.
The earlier you manage perception, the stronger the brand becomes.
